Non-woven geotextile

Five layers. Clean stone, firm ground.RETECH geotextile — as laid under roads, yards and paved areas.

Subgrade

Fine-grained soil. Under load it would pump up into the stone and soften it.

RETECH RNW non-woven geotextile

Needle-punched fibres. It separates, filters and drains in one layer.

Grade on request

Granular sub-base

It stays clean, so it keeps its strength and drains freely.

Sand bedding

Levelled bedding for the paving.

Paving

Interlocking blocks. The surface stays level because the ground below stays put.

What it is

Non woven geotextile fabric, made by Retech Geosolutions in Gujarat and supplied across India and for export.

Needle-punched polypropylene or polyester fibres. Permeable to water but not to soil, so one layer separates, filters and drains. Strong enough to withstand installation and backfill.

Features

  • UV stabilised
  • High chemical resistance
  • Withstands construction installation stresses
  • Optimum elongation

Applications

  • Erosion control
  • Drainage, filtration and separation in civil structures
  • Protection layer to geomembranes
  • Protection layer to waterproofing membranes

How it is made

Made from virgin polypropylene or polyester fibres, needle-punched into a dimensionally stable fabric that balances strength and permeability.

Questions buyers ask

What is non woven geotextile fabric used for?

To separate soil layers, filter water while holding back soil, drain within its own plane, and protect geomembranes and waterproofing, often all in one layer. Typical jobs: under road sub-bases, around drains, behind walls and over liners.

What GSM of geotextile should I use?

GSM (grams per square metre) is a guide, not a specification. Specify the properties the job needs: tensile strength (EN ISO 10319), CBR puncture resistance (EN ISO 12236), opening size (EN ISO 12956) and permeability (EN ISO 11058). Heavier grades suit protection and rough installation; lighter grades suit filtration. Retech engineers can recommend a grade from your drawing.

What is the price of non woven geotextile per square metre?

It depends on GSM, polymer (polypropylene or polyester), quantity and delivery location. The geotextile calculator gives roll count and weight; send the area and grade for a quote within one working day.
