Five layers. Clean stone, firm ground.RETECH geotextile — as laid under roads, yards and paved areas.
Subgrade
Fine-grained soil. Under load it would pump up into the stone and soften it.
RETECH RWT woven geotextile
Tapes woven at right angles. High strength at low elongation, for soft ground.
Tensile on requestGranular sub-base
It stays clean, so it keeps its strength and drains freely.
Sand bedding
Levelled bedding for the paving.
Paving
Interlocking blocks. The surface stays level because the ground below stays put.
illustrationWhat it is
Woven geotextile fabric, made by Retech Geosolutions in Gujarat and supplied across India and for export.
Polypropylene or polyester tapes woven at right angles. High strength with low elongation, for embankments, soft subgrades and shoreline protection.
Features
- High strength
- Low elongation
- Optimum permeability characteristics
Applications
- Shoreline erosion control and protection
- Embankment reinforcement
- Stabilisation of weak soils
How it is made
A planar fabric woven at right angles from polypropylene or polyester filament yarns. Woven filament geotextiles are the choice where a job needs strength and filtration together.

Questions buyers ask
What is woven geotextile fabric used for?
Where strength matters: embankments over soft ground, stabilising weak subgrades and protecting shorelines. Tapes woven at right angles give high strength at low elongation.
Woven or non-woven geotextile?
Woven: high strength and low stretch, for reinforcement and separation under load. Non-woven: thicker and more permeable, for filtration, drainage and protection. Many jobs use both.
How do I specify woven geotextile?
By wide-width tensile strength in both directions (EN ISO 10319, kN/m), elongation at that strength, opening size and permeability, not by weight. Send your design values and Retech will match a grade.
