The problem
Waste liquids, process water and water stored in ponds, canals and reservoirs must stay where they are put. The lining has to be waterproof, stand up to what it holds, and be protected from punctures during and after construction.
What to specify
- Sheet thickness and material for the liquid and the temperature
- Protection geotextile mass and puncture resistance
- Seam method and QA testing
- Cushion layers above and below
