Geogrid calculator
For a road or platform base, area and laps. For a reinforced soil wall or slope, the number of layers from height and spacing, and the grid in each layer from the reinforcement length in your design.

How the calculation works
For a road or platform base the grid is area × layers × (1 + laps). For a reinforced soil wall, layers = wall height ÷ vertical spacing, rounded up, and each layer is wall length × reinforcement length, plus the face wrap and a 1 m return for wrapped faces. Retech confirms the strength grade and the rolls in the quote, from the wall design. Example: a 100 m wall, 6 m high, with layers every 0.6 m and 4.2 m reinforcement needs 10 layers, about 4,410 m² with 5% waste.
Planning quantities for budgeting and enquiry. A Retech engineer confirms the grade and quantity against your drawings before order.
